Ten years after Sarah Connor’s spectacular comeback with her first German-language album, „Muttersprache“, we produced an exclusive anniversary edition of this hit album.
Just in time for the 10th anniversary, particular attention was paid to exceptional details during the production of the gatefold featuring two black 12inch vinyl records (180g, heavyweight). In terms of design, a combination of black-and-white photographs and a vibrant shade of yellow runs like a graphic thread through the entire package. This design element is also reflected on the printed inner sleeves and labels.

The gatefold has been finished on the outside with a high-quality laser die-cut in the shape of a „10“. A special highlight: the inside pages of the gatefold are printed in matching yellow, so that the die-cut reveals a bold shade of yellow, creating a striking accent within the otherwise minimalist, monochrome design.
Another eye-catcher is the etching on the D-side. Here, the portrait of Sarah Connor, which already adorns the cover of “Muttersprache”, has been engraved using photorealistic Greyscale Laser Etching. Fine lines, nuanced greyscale gradients and high-contrast details, which even extend beyond the area of the black label, create a real eye-catcher – and make this edition an absolute must-have for fans and collectors.
