optimal media supports associations and initiatives in the region

Presentation of donations

optimal media’s production site is located in the centre of the Mecklenburg Lake District. In addition to its partnerships with the Müritz National Park and the Nature Park Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide, optimal media has regularly supported associations and charitable initiatives in the region for more than twenty years.

The company’s employees have the opportunity to submit suggestions as to who should receive support by the end of the Christmas period and the donations are traditionally handed over at the beginning of the year. This year, donations totalling 1,000 euros each were presented to:

Morizaner Sippe e.V.

The association is dedicated to preserving old traditions. At festivals and events, they present life and customs in the Mecklenburg Viking and Slavic era. Dressed in traditional costumes, they provide insights into craftsmanship and weaponry: combat demonstrations, archery, pottery, fabric dyeing and herbalism are just some of the activities presented during events. These are to be further expanded with the financial support.

Die Sternsinger der Kirchgemeinde Röbel/Müritz

They consist of around 40 children and have been helping children around the world since 1994. On 6 January, they brought their blessing to the people of Röbel/Müritz and the surrounding villages, delighting them with their songs and good wishes. The popular carol singers collected donations for children in need. The amount provided will be invested by the community in new robes, crowns and donation boxes, some of which have been used for more than 30 years of carol singing.

Förderverein Freiwillige Feuerwehr Klink e.V.

The association was founded in 2018 and is committed to its local fire brigade and children’s and youth fire brigades in the community. With personal commitment and financial resources, they primarily support the fire brigade’s work with children and young people. With the financial support provided, the association aims to enable the 21 children between the ages of 6 and 15 to take part in joint excursions and events.
