Environmentally conscious production methods

Sustainable products

FSC®-certified cardboard and paper

We work with FSC®-certified suppliers to manufacture our products. To ensure the responsible management of global forest resources, we offer you the option of using paper sourced from responsibly managed forests, which is FSC®-certified.

Recycled cardboard and paper

You can actively reduce the consumption of resources by choosing paper made from recycled materials with a ration of between 30% and 100%. This cuts emissions and significantly reduces energy consumption during production.

Plant-based inks in conventional offset printing

In conventional offset printing, we use plant oil-based inks as standard. With the use of plant oil-based inks, the alcohol-reduced printing process and the renunciation of palm oil usage, we offer you environmentally conscious print products from renewable raw materials. Use water-based dispersion varnishes with the renunciation of alcohol.

Environmentally friendly finishing

We offer many varying finishing options and add haptic and visual accents to your product. There is a range of finishes that also meet your ecological requirements: Blind embossing, single, multi-level, high or deep embossing, applied and inserted title label, die-cutting, laser cutting.

Vinyl record made of recycled PVC1

With our recycled records, we offer a sustainable alternative to conventional vinyl production. ReVinyl is pressed using 100% recycled material1, which is sourced from our in-house material recovery process directly at our production site in Röbel/Müritz. Find out more about ReVinyl.

Vinyl records made of bio-based PVC via ISCC mass balance2

With BioVinyl, we offer you an environmentally conscious method of vinyl record production that uses bio-based PVC,
the raw materials for which are verifiably certified in accordance with the ISCC mass balance approach.2 BioVinyl is available in the tried-and-tested virgin vinyl quality and in a full range of colours and finishes. Find out more about BioVinyl.

Vinyl record pressing without the use of fossil fuels3

With eVinyl, both steam generation and the pressing process are powered entirely by electricity from renewable energy sources.3 This process is complemented by the use of bio-based PVC, the raw materials for which are verifiably certified in accordance with the ISCC mass balance approach.2 With eVinyl, we offer you the opportunity to produce vinyl records without the use of natural gas or crude oil in the pressing process.

Environmentally friendly packaging for your products

Check whether your products really require cellophane packaging, and consider choosing from using any of our many plastic-free packaging options. Like conventional paper and cardboard, these can consist of between 30% and 100% recycled material.

Financial contribution to climate action with ClimatePartner

Take the opportunity to provide targeted financial support for ClimatePartner’s global climate protection projects through your product. Clearly demonstrate to your end customers that your product stands out from the rest.

Support of a regional nature protection project

In partnership with the Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide Nature Park, we are offering you the opportunity to support a regional nature protection project in the immediate vicinity of our production site. Through your production, optimal media is supporting the „Young Giants for the Next 100 Years“ project in the Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide. This promotes the reforestation of a climate-resilient mixed deciduous forest and regional biodiversity. Find out more about the nature protection project.
