The British progressive rock band YES, known for their complex, multi-layered compositions, technical virtuosity and polyphonic vocal harmonies, have re-released their 1971 album „Fragile“ in a very special edition. Even after 22 studio albums, the London band is still keen to experiment and is now presenting a new „HiRes Stereo Mix“ and a „5.1 DTS Surround Mix“ in addition to the original mix of the album – supplemented by numerous previously unreleased bonus tracks and the instrumental-only versions of the songs. The remix was created by Steven Wilson, singer and producer (Porcupine Tree, among others).
These special sound versions have been compiled on a total of six discs: Four CDs, one BD and one vinyl record.

The Super Deluxe Edition was produced in vinyl record format as a high-quality optimal media book. The folder-like hardcover is laminated with a scratch-resistant matt film. On the U2 there is a glued-in spine sleeve with a punched grip on the top and two diagonally arranged holding punched holes for a cardboard wallet. The spine sleeve pocket contains a 16-page, staple-stitched booklet in vinyl record format and a black, lined inner sleeve with a 12inch vinyl record in classic Black (180g, heavyweight).
The cardboard wallet contains a Blu-ray disc, which is packed in a PVC sleeve for extra protection. Thanks to the punched holes, the bag stays securely in place, directly on the spine sleeve. A die-cut cardboard, coloured black throughout, has been glued onto the U3. This is printed over the entire surface, as is the background in the die-cuts, on which four disc holders for the CDs are attached.
More than 50 years after the first release of „Fragile“, YES have succeeded in creating an extraordinary new edition with this Super Deluxe Edition – certainly unique in this form!
