Our success is based the quality of the products and services which we provide. This is why product quality, adherence to deadlines, transparency and cost certainty are a top priority for us. We continuously optimise our processes and workflows at all levels to guarantee superior quality at all times.



Well-rehearsed teams are one precondition for consistent maximum performance. Our departments work hand in hand, supported by high-performance IT systems such as our real-time production database which we have developed in-house to suit our own needs and requirements. We also rely on a real pro for processes in the storage and logistics sectors, namely the SAP enterprise resource planning system (ERP). And: our quality management system for all processes is based on ISO 9001:2008. As you can see, we leave nothing to chance when it comes to the quality of your products. And not only in this respect. We are also committed to environmental protection in every aspect of our work.

Environment

We have the environment in mind, every day: Optimal Media is located in the midst of the Mecklenburg Lake District with its unique flora and fauna. The preservation of this wonderful surroundings, also for future generations, is a matter innately close to our hearts. We face up to this responsibility with production and distribution methods which are easy on the environment, the implementation of state-of-the-art technologies, the use of energy-efficient equipment and the minimisation of waste and emissions.

In addition we ensure – wherever possible – that the materials we use are fed back into the cycle, for example by heating our storage facilities and office buildings with excess heat from our production areas. Where waste cannot be avoided, our exclusive cooperation with certified waste management companies ensures that materials are separated according to production stages and sorted for appropriate disposal and recycling. Our environmental management system has been certified in accordance with ISO 14001 and is continuously updated.
In addition, Optimal Media is FSC- and PEFC-certified, so our material flow is subject to the strict regulations of FSC and PEFC requirements and constantly monitored. Both FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC (Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes) are committed in particular to sustainable forestry and the preservation of natural forests. Based on our FSC and PEFC certifications, we are in a position to supply you with printed matter and packaging products featuring the FSC or PEFC  logo. We will be happy to advise you.


We will be pleased to support you in manufacturing your content as sustainably as possible.  Below please find a number of useful hints which you may like to consider in the conception of your products:
 

  • Make the most of our wide variety of plastic-free packaging options, which – in addition to traditional types of paper and cardboard – can feature recycling proportions of 30% to 100%.
  • Opt for our returns service to ensure your waste packaging is correctly sorted.
  • Compensate the CO2 emission generated during production and shipping by purchasing carbon offset certificates.  This allows you to support, for example, reforestation projects in the tropical forests of Panama.
  • Have a close look at whether cello-wrapping your products is really necessary. If you cannot do without, we will guarantee the use of PVC-free foil.
